The Importance of Butter

I hear so much about what people believe they need to do or release to be “better.”  Sometimes the activity or deprivation has to do with health; just as often it links to relationships – whether professional or personal.  Most of us could do more with less, and we might very well be better at all kinds of things.  We might also take a minute, though, to recognize what we are doing just fine.  We might also remember it’s usually easier to make changes in the name of “better-ness” when there is a bit of kindness in our lives.  When we are kinder to ourselves, it’s easier to be kinder to the world around us and the people in it.  So, when people tell me all the things they need to do or take away, I ask them what they will keep and enjoy.  It’s those kindnesses that will fuel them to find the better they want to be.  Below are some of the kindnesses I most appreciate. Feel free to borrow from the list.
